Talento Search Group is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist for our client in the Richmond, Virginia area. This will be a direct hire, day shift position.

Job Highlights:

• Pay: $35 - $40 per hour depending upon experience
• Shift: Monday - Friday - Day Shift
• Bi-Weekly Pay
• Benefits: Full Medical Package available after 60 Days
• • 401K retirement (available after 1 year)

  • 2 Weeks Vacation to start

Skills Required:

• Operations of various CNC/Manual Equipment such as lathes, mills, drills, boring, tapping, welders, etc. Both horizontal and vertical setups
• Ability to set up equipment / program based on product/needs specifications
• Use precision measurement tooling for product quality checks (micrometers, calipers, balancing equipment, etc.)
• Daily reporting of production work as required
• Use of various hand tools - powered/non-power - examples: sanders, grinders, saws
• Assist other machinist and departments as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years current experience in a machining environment - 5 years preferred.
• HS-Diploma or Equivalent, Technical Degree in Machining is highly desired
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• Pay high attention to detail, quality and safety standards
• Mechanical background / aptitude
• Ability to move upwards to 100 pounds with/without assistance
