A local property management company is currently seeking a hardworking and dependable individual to fill an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor position at a large apartment complex in Virginia Beach. The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor assists in the physical operation and proper appearance of the community. Primary responsibilities include building maintenance and general repair work including plumbing, drywall, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and appliance repairs.
Primary Duties include:
- Maintain the appearance of all buildings, laundry room, clubhouse and grounds to be pleasing to the eye of present and prospective residents.
- In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, prepare vacancies for occupancy. Schedule subcontractors and in-house staff to have the units ready.
- Complete routine service requests within 48 hours of receipt.
- Assists the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain a sufficient inventory list of parts.
- Assist with maintenance personnel by ensuring employees are properly dressed and performing duties as assigned.
- May assists with other properties on an occasional basis.
