Key Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen leadership and operations
• Collaborate on menu development, including seasonal dishes and chef specials
• Oversee product ordering, inventory, and cost controls
• Train, motivate, and inspire the culinary team
• Ensure consistency, presentation, and execution meet brand standards
• Maintain food safety and sanitation compliance (ServSafe certification required)
• Build trust and teamwork across both kitchen and front-of-house operations

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef in an upscale or high-volume full-service concept
• 6+ years of total culinary experience
• Proven success in managing food & labor costs, P&L oversight, and team development
• Strong leadership and communication skills under pressure
• Ability to create, cost, and execute menu specials and signature dishes
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and sense of humor
