We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support lease accounting activities. This position will serve as an important connection point between multiple departments and help ensure financial information is accurate and issues are resolved efficiently. The role is well suited for someone who can manage recurring reconciliations, respond to questions promptly, and maintain strong accuracy in general ledger support work.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with operations partners, and the accounting team to gather information, clarify issues, and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform frequent reconciliations for rent, operating expenses, and other charges to confirm records are complete and accurate.
• Prepare and record journal entries to correct general ledger coding and support proper financial reporting.
• Review incoming emails, requests, and documentation to address questions and route items to the appropriate parties when needed.
• Guide store teams on established procedures and documentation requirements to improve consistency and compliance.
• Investigate payment variances and account differences by researching supporting records and following up with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain organized accounting support files and reconciliation records for audit readiness and ongoing reference.
• Ability to perform high-volume reconciliations with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and standard office software used for financial tracking and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize effectively, and meet recurring deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to research discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrections.
