A&P Mechanic – Contract Role (Manassas, VA)

We’re looking for an experienced A&P Mechanic to support aircraft maintenance and modifications on advanced unmanned aircraft systems. This is a hands-on role in a cutting-edge hangar environment, focused on innovation, precision, and compliance.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Saab 340 aircraft
• Troubleshoot mechanical, avionics, and structural issues
• Support complex aircraft modifications, retrofits, and system upgrades
• Ensure all work meets FAA, NASA, OEM , and company standards
• Mentor junior technicians when needed
• Help assess and resolve aircraft squawks

• A&P License required
• 6-10+ years of heavy maintenance and modification experience
• Experience in MRO, repair station, or military depot-level maintenance
• Ability to use computer software to manage work orders
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, avionics, and structural issues on aircraft when required.
• Flexibility on shift (rotates every 2 weeks)
  • Day Shift : Mon–Fri, 7AM–4PM
  • Evening Shift : Mon–Thu, 2PM–12AM (rotates every 2 weeks)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
