Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a skilled Registered Nurse with step-down unit experience to provide exceptional care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role requires clinical expertise, strong assessment skills, and the ability to manage patients transitioning from intensive care to less acute care environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the step-down unit
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and medical conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with experience in step-down or progressive care units
- Proficiency in patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, challenging environments
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
