WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEEDBring your software development expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The SCRUM Master must have:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
● Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Technical skills:
- Plans and facilitates scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand up, demos, board reviews, and retrospectives
- Maintains JIRA and other information radiators for the teams
- Collaborates with clients or end users to understand business requirements
- Acts as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring that appropriate project process is made
- Identifies and resolves impediments that slow development or prevent the team from meeting established goals or milestones
- Motivates teams to perform and ensures team members are collectively responsible for all aspects of the committed work (analysis, development, testing, documentation, etc.)
- Provides reports based on team capacity and how the team is preforming against capacity
- Serves as a scrum master for up to three medium size Agile teams or one large consolidated Agile team
- May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
● Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
● Location : Chantilly, VA (customer site)
● US citizenship required
