This position works out of our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You'll Work On

• Participate as generalist during External audits.
• Lead and/or participate in Internal Audit Program.
• Drive Food Safety Culture Initiatives.
• PNC/NC Investigations and Actions.
• Tracking and Trending Compliance metrics for site, focus on areas of opportunity.
• Train and Provide support for internal auditors and quarterly audits.
• Lead or co-lead workstreams during external audits.
• Provide plan and support in establishing Food safety culture at site.
• Back up Compliance Manager as appropriate.
• Ensure Plant is in audit ready state and take actions for improvement and plant engagement.
• Train and support the Compliance Specialist Position. You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Science or similar related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Compliance Role OR
• Minimum 4 years experience in Quality Assurance in a GMP Industry
