Job Requisition: Inventory Lead Specialist

Location : Williamsburg, VA (onsite)

Customer : Naval Medical Readiness Logistics Command

W2 Hourly rate: $40-45/hr

Clearance : Public Trust (You must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship to obtain a Public Trust clearance)

Availability: July 2026

The Inventory Lead Specialist shall be responsible for the inventory of all material contained in all NMRLC warehouses. The inventory lead will ensure that all inventory personnel perform 100% inventory annually. The inventory lead specialist is responsible for all inventory requirements specified in DOD, U.S. Navy and NMRLC instructions as well as requirements specified in the PWS.

Performs inventory control work, supporting a broad range of duties required to accomplish the mission of a large production, sustainment, and distribution center. Duties will include counting types, quantities, and condition of items during annual inventories, location surveys, physical inventory, material handling, material examining and identifying, packing, operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and analyzing, evaluating, and revising command inventory.

Inventory Lead Specialist : Experience is required in inventory operations that include execution of inventory counts, reconciliation of findings, investigation/audit methods for inventory programs, material pre-adjustment and causative research methods and operation of various material handling equipment. Knowledge of overall warehousing storage management plan and accepted warehousing methods. Knowledge of inventory functions, operations, program requirements and work methods. Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures, material handling techniques and of activities such as material receiving and material storage impacting inventory operations. Knowledge of programs utilized in providing material support. Shall have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Skills and Certifications - A valid driver's license to drive up to a 1.5-ton stake bed truck and 4-6K forklifts for the delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and furniture.
