Hiring for an Experienced COMMERCIAL HVAC Service Technician

Russell’s Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, And Electric’s commercial department is growing again!We are looking for the next Commercial HVAC/R service tech to join our ranks. We take pride in providing the best work/life balance and benefits in the industry. Plus, we have light on-call demand and do not service restaurant hot side equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to work individually while maintaining exceptional customer service
• Efficient trouble-shooting and problem-solving of all common mechanical systems up to 50 tons
• Able to follow all Russell’s safety guidelines and customer requirements
• Perform preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems
• Perform related work as assigned
• Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations
• Maintain understanding of company repair policies and pricing
• Ability to discuss repair options with clients and present estimates
• Ability to learn and utilize all company software applications

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience
• Valid Driver's License and clean DMV record
• Excellent technical and communication skills
• Friendly, personable, and responsible team player
• Possess own tools
• Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade.
• Knowledge of the operating principles and characteristics of the various types of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems
• Ability to apply the theory, technique, principles, and processes of the HVAC mechanic's trade
• Ability to read, understand, and work from schematics
• Universal EPA certified
• OSHA Certification (preferred)
• Be able to bend, stoop, reach, stand, lift and move 50lbs regularly throughout the day
