SKILLS: DevOps Tech Lead, Nimble SDLC, Developer Work Flow, Source Code Management, Software Releases, Application Architecture, Docker, Iterative Development, Test-driven development, Continuous Delivery environment Description:The DevOps Lead will be responsible for supporting development teams in adoption of and compliance with the “Nimble” software development lifecycle and release process, Nimble Development Methodology (NDM). All Investment and Capital Markets software will be built and maintained using NDM. The goals of NDM include: rapid & test driven development; continuous integration; fully automated promotion and deployment procedures; support for a complete set of development, test and production environments; and appropriate controls. The DevOps Lead will be expected to contribute to all aspects of the Nimble automation (Project Workflow, Source Code management and developer workflow, Continuous build and delivery (to non-production environments) and the train release to production.Responsibilities include:• Contribute enhanced automation in all phases of the Nimble lifecycle
• Collaborate with Investment and Capital Markets software developers to ensure Nimble tools maximize developer productivity
• Provide assistance to development teams using Nimble (particularly when newly adopting the methodology) in:
o Application Architecture
o Use of Docker
o Iterative development processes
o Automated testing
o Test-driven development
• Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in DevOps to the developer communityRequired Skills and Qualifications:• 10 yrs+ experience developing solutions in a managed SDLC environment
• 5 yrs+ experience with iterative development and automated build pipelines
• 5 yrs+ managing leading teams in software development, preferably in a Continuous Delivery environment, or similar
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similarPreferred Skills:
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with various resiliency techniques for high availability
• Experience in high performance trading and risk platforms
• Knowledgeable about information security
