About the Team
Product Management within the PULSE debit framework is centered on driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology, with a strong emphasis on reimagining the status quo and identifying new opportunities for value creation. Teams are expected to leverage a robust product framework that includes human-centered design, business focus, technology-driven solutions, integrated problem solving, and transformational leadership. This approach ensures that products not only meet internal and external customer needs but also deliver game-changing outcomes by focusing on execution excellence and leveraging technology for both immediate and long-term value.

The Senior Manager Product Management acts as a servant leader, guiding and supporting product owners across development teams. This role involves leading the execution and development of the product vision, driving business value, and improving customer experience while managing dependencies across teams and cross-functional partners. The Senior Manager is expected to possess deep technical and business architecture skills, enabling them to recognize patterns and resolve complex problems efficiently. They are responsible for fostering organizational alignment, ensuring that product owners are empowered to deliver outcomes, and are often recognized for their expertise and contributions both within and outside the company.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Houston, TX: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

Richmond, VA: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
