Requirements

Position Title: Data Engineer

Location: Onsite – 5 days/week in McLean, VA

Work Type: 1099 / C2C / W2

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, H1B, H4 EAD

What You’ll Do:

• Solve complex business problems using data engineering, analytics, and machine learning.
  
• Process, clean, and prepare structured/unstructured data for analysis.
  
• Build, embed, and scale ML models in production with engineering teams.
  
• Conduct exploratory analysis and deliver insights across financial services domains (capital markets, wealth management, asset management, AML, fraud, risk).
  
• Support proposals, reusable frameworks, and best practices for analytics solutions.
  
• Stay current on AI/ML tools and technologies.
  

What You’ll Bring:

• 7+ years in analytics, BI, or data engineering.
  
• 5+ years building BI apps with QlikSense, QlikView, Tableau, or Looker.
  
• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, Data Mapping, Migration, and System Integration.
  
• Experience in large-scale data warehouse environments.
  
• Strong communication skills to present technical and business insights.
  
• Knowledge of Wealth Management products and investment domain.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with TCS BaNCS or other wealth management platforms.
  
• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Databricks).
  
• Financial services industry background.
  
• Advanced data visualization experience.
