Average Pay Range: $23 - $25/ hr -Rate varies and depends on experience level & certifications
Sign-On Bonus: $2,000
NFI Division: Fleet Services
To become part of the NFI team, you:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Preferred ability to obtain a Class A license
- Technical or advanced degree or 2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
- Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
- Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
- On-site evaluation with recommended training

Your responsibilities as a Diesel Technician / Mechanic will include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
- Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers
- Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
- Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
