Position Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator assists with various HR-related functions including employee relations, policy implementation, benefits administration, onboarding, administrative support, office management, and company events. This role assists with varied day-to-day HR tasks and will need to efficiently adapt to workplace priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions.
  • Prepares employment verifications for previous and current employees.
  • Assists with implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable law and company standards.
  • Facilitates and assists with benefit-related questions including qualified life event enrollments, general 401(k) inquiries, and benefits claim questions and/or plan changes.
  • Assists HR Leadership with project planning, including office events and company-wide initiatives.
  • Assists and plays a key role in departmental and enterprise initiatives.
  • Assists with the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Responsible for ordering office supplies and managing office inventory.
  • Providing ad hoc reporting and support to leadership, as necessary.
  • Other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field of study preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Well-developed team skills and the experience, confidence, and presence to effectively manage interpersonal relationships and sensitive HR issues.
  • Strong organization skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and public-speaking skills (verbal and written)
  • Located in Richmond, VA and willing to work from the office in a hybrid schedule.
Pay Range: USD $22.12 - USD $24.04 /Hr.
