This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, overseeing the full development function from prospecting through stewardship while building the infrastructure, processes, and team needed to sustain long-term growth. As both a player and coach, you'll personally manage key relationships while working in tandem with RESOLVE's CEO and external fundraising consultants to achieve ambitious revenue goals. This position reports to the CEO and is critical to RESOLVE's long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full donor and partner lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through solicitation, renewal, and multi-year relationship growth

  • Design compelling sponsorship packages, partnership proposals, and gift asks that align funder priorities with RESOLVE's mission, including clear benefits, timelines, and success metrics

  • Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and clear deliverables

  • Manage partnership activation and fulfillment, delivering exceptional value and maintaining strong donor and sponsor satisfaction

  • Cultivate and solicit foundation funders and individual major gift donors, developing tailored engagement strategies and proposals for each prospect

  • Create strategic engagement opportunities, including the annual Night of Hope gala sponsorships, patient advocacy initiatives, and custom programs tailored to partner and donor priorities

  • Maintain a prioritized pipeline and solicitation calendar across all fundraising channels to ensure consistent coverage, forecasting accuracy, and on-time renewals

Team-Building and Development Operations (25%)

  • Build and lead the development team, including recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new staff and consultants as needed

  • Serve as an internal point of contact for external fundraising consultants, coordinating strategy, workstreams, and follow-through to maximize the impact of outside partnerships

  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for cultivation, stewardship, and fulfillment across all fundraising channels, including templates, timelines, and workflows

  • Create scalable systems for prospect research, pipeline management, and performance tracking

  • Partner closely with operations to ensure accurate gift processing, invoicing, pledge tracking, and deliverables tracking

  • Draft meeting agendas, capture action items, and drive follow-up to keep solicitations and deliverables moving

  • Ensure clean CRM hygiene by entering timely notes, contacts, proposals, deliverables, and next steps

  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration

Strategic Planning & Cross-Organizational Collaboration (15%)

  • Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with RESOLVE's strategic plan and organizational priorities, including target sectors, revenue assumptions, and multi-year growth goals

  • Serve as a key thought partner to the CEO on development strategy, major gift solicitations, and high-level relationship management

  • Partner with advocacy, membership, and communications teams to create integrated funding opportunities, stewardship content, and funder visibility

  • Monitor trends in fertility care, corporate giving, foundation funding, and cause marketing to identify new opportunities and translate them into an actionable prospect pipeline

Budget Management & Performance Analysis (10%)

  • Develop and manage the development budget and revenue forecast, ensuring efficient resource allocation and ROI

  • Track and report on fundraising metrics, pipeline health, and progress toward revenue goals across all channels

  • Analyze performance and revenue trends to inform strategy and resource allocation decisions

Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years of progressive fundraising experience with demonstrated success across multiple fundraising channels, including corporate partnerships, foundation relations, and/or major gifts
