Robotics & UAS Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Robotics & UAS Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and integrate cutting-edge solutions for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and robotics platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Python programming, ArduPilot development, and applying machine learning techniques to enhance autonomy with Python. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize software for UAS and robotics applications using Python
- Implement and customize ArduPilot-based flight controllers and autonomous features.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate sensor data, conduct simulations, and performfield testing.
- Troubleshoot and refine systems for reliable performance in dynamic environments.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.Equivalent experience is an acceptable substitute.
- Proven experience in Python and/or general programming for robotics or embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of machine learning applications in robotics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI across diverse areas.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
- Hands-on experience with UAS/robotics platforms and familiarity with ArduPilot.
- Experience with flight testing, hardware integration, and performance tuning is a plus.
- Experience working directly with U.S. military or DoD organizations. Prior service is a plus.
