Programmer/Analyst,
The Virginia Tax department is seeking a Programmer/Analyst to enhance and build new features for the Virginia Field Audit Compliance Tool (VFACT). This role involves working on a custom-built system to track audit activities and caseloads conducted by Tax Field Auditors. The resource will implement new tax types into VFACT and work on integrating VFACT with the replacement of IRMS for existing taxes. This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:
- Continuously enhance and build new features for the VFACT system.
- Implement new tax types such as Corp Income Tax and other miscellaneous taxes into VFACT.
- Work on the integration of VFACT with the replacement of IRMS for existing taxes.
- Work under the direction of the VFACT Application Manager.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Proficient with Angular (3+ years experience)
- SQL and Oracle Database (3+ years experience)
- Knowledge of REST API (2+ years experience)
- Must be a Green Card holder or US Citizen
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience and understanding Tax Audit work Process (2+ years experience)
- Experience and understanding Virginia Tax, Tax Administration process (2+ years experience)
Special Considerations:
- This is an onsite/hybrid position, requiring minimally three days per week in the office.
- Initial interviews will be virtual, but a follow-up in-person interview may be required.
- Parking is not provided for contractors.
- Candidates must reside within the US for the duration of the assignment.
