Position Overview

QinetiQ US seeks a Senior Executive Officer/Chief of Staff to support a Directors Action Group. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing and producing materials for internal and external communications, develop strategic messaging, and establish policies and procedures for a rapid R&D program office. The role requires working effectively with a diverse team to ensure timely delivery of products for government and industry audiences supporting a newly established Principal Staff Assistant office in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

1. Research, write, edit, and produce documentation, including graphics, for office projects as required by government management and project managers.
2. Create content for senior leadership engagements, including white papers, presentations, and tracking tools.
3. Develop and oversee short- and long-term policies and procedures for a small R&D organization.
4. Coordinate with Office Directors, protocol officials, and foreign disclosure officials to facilitate information dissemination across government levels.
5. Serve as a liaison and Action Officer for the office Director, Deputy Director, and Director of Strategic Engagements.
6. Maintain office archives of presentations, speeches, white papers, media, and manage bibliographic and technical documentation libraries.
7. Prepare drafts for technical reviews, industry presentations, concepts of employment, and operational briefings.
8. Coordinate with leadership on briefings to external agencies.
9. Support the Director of Strategic Engagement in developing operational strategies and maintaining an engagement calendar.
10. Focus on team collaboration and organizational efficiency improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Top Secret / SCI security clearance
• Bachelors Degree
• At least 15 years of relevant multimedia and technical communication support experience
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and other media development tools
• Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a mission-focused, fast-paced environment
• Masters Degree
• Military Executive Officer/Chief of Staff experience
• Program Office experience
