TransForce is seeking a Local CDL B Route Driver to support operations based in Ashland, VA . This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, home daily
- Pay: $23.50/hr plus overtime after 40 hours
Job Details
- Route Type: Local, 8 - 15 stops per day depending on the route
- Freight / Load Type: Paper products and cleaning products
- Handling: Heavy Touch / Pallet Jack & Hand carts
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport paper and cleaning products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks using pallet jack and hand carts
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL B
- Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
