Floating Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – Richmond, VA

What You’ll Do

• Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests
• Work independently and as part of a supportive team
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep properties in top shape
• Help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming grounds
• Complete unit turns so new residents feel at home right away
• Take on additional projects as needed to support the community

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license required
• Hands-on residential repair skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
• HVAC knowledge a plus (but not required—we’ll support your growth!)
• Ability to lift/carry 25–50 lbs. and handle physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

All candidates must pass a criminal background and drug screen prior to hire. EOE.

Pay & Benefits

• $22.00/hour starting pay

• Consistent full-time hours (40+ per week)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• On-call rotation
• Occasional weekend needs
