Lead Pega Developer

The Work

Our Digital Modernization Division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated strategic solutions to its public and private-sector clients. ICF has the expertise agility and commitment to design build and operate high-performance IT engines to support all aspects of our clients business.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Pega Developer to lead the design development and implementation of Pega-based solutions for government survey programs. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders ensuring compliance with federal standards and delivering high-quality applications that streamline survey processes.

Job Location: Remote work is authorized . Must support US Eastern time zone working hours .

What You Will Do:

• Lead the design and development of Pega applications for survey management and data collection

• Translate business requirements into scalable Pega solutions aligned with government standards

• Oversee application architecture integration and performance optimization.

• Collaborate with business analysts QA teams and project managers to ensure timely delivery

• Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in Pega development.

• Support deployment troubleshooting and enhancements in production environments

• Ensure compliance with security accessibility and data privacy regulations

What You Will Bring With You:

• US Citizenship required by the government client

• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

• Candidate must reside in the U.S. be authorized to work in the U.S. and all work must be performed in the U.S.

• Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years

• Highschool degree with at least 10 years in a leadership or technical lead role

• 6 years of experience with Pega PRPC including system architecture design and development

What We Would Like You To Bring With You:

• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or higher

• Strong understanding of Pega PRPC architecture case management and integration

• Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins Git Maven) in a Pega context.

• Knowledge of cloud-based deployments (e.g. Pega Cloud AWS Azure)

• Exposure to Java RDBMS or other complementary technologies

• Experience working on a project using the Scaled Agile Framework

• Experience in a software development team building modern software products.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices

• Experience working in large enterprise environments or on government contracts

• Docker experience and/or an understanding of containerization

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively at all levels of the business

• Organized detailed oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and competencies that align to the specified role geographic location education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is :

$118730.00 - $201840.00
