Data Entry Clerk
This is a remote position.
Specialized Technical Services (STS) is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team. In this remote capacity, you will be responsible for maintaining our database by entering new and updated customer and account information. This role is essential for ensuring our remote data infrastructure remains accurate, accessible, and secure for all technical departments.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry into our centralized systems.
Verify the accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents and resolving any discrepancies.
Update and maintain existing records to ensure data integrity across our remote network.
Transcribe information from various formats into our proprietary database software.
Adhere to strict data security and confidentiality protocols while working in a remote environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in a data entry, clerical, or administrative role.
Exceptional typing speed and accuracy (minimum 50 WPM).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and cloud-based data management.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
A reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote work.
