LOCATION: Northern Virginia

CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, On-site

POSITION SUMMARY

Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a Mission Systems Analyst to provide operational support and systems analysis for mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) platforms. In this role, you will support the design, deployment, and daily operations of command-and-control and collection systems, enabling effective planning, scheduling, and real-time operations for space, cyber, and ISR missions. You will collaborate closely with mission operations, software, and infrastructure teams to ensure systems meet stringent availability, latency, and performance requirements in support of national security objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):

• Conduct mission planning, scheduling, and feasibility analysis to support operational readiness.
• Monitor system health and performance in both live and test environments, ensuring availability and reliability.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for 24/7 operations, including incident response and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate deployment, sustainment, and data collection operations for fielded mission systems.
• Operate in SCIF and field environments, supporting command sequences and classified mission execution.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • DoD polygraph preferred.
• Background in mission systems operations, with preference for experience in SIGINT, GEOINT, ISR, space operations, or tactical platforms.
• Familiarity with ground control systems and telemetry for space and ISR missions.
• Experience with system troubleshooting and control interface operations in classified or fielded environments.
