Collective Impact Coordinator 25-044
Summary
The Program & Community Engagement Coordinator supports the goals of the Minus 9 to 5 initiative by coordinating collaborative work groups, strengthening engagement with HRCEA faith leaders, and ensuring early childhood programs and services align with community needs. This role combines program coordination, data-informed planning, and faith-based outreach to increase awareness, utilization, and impact of Minus 9 to 5 services.
Job Responsibilities:
Faith-Based Community Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HRCEA faith leaders and congregations
- Seek input on awareness, use, and perceptions of Minus 9 to 5 programs
- Collect qualitative data through conversations, interviews, and focus groups
- Identify challenges to service utilization and suggest pathways for improved access
- Support faith leaders in sharing resources with their congregations (e.g., through bulletins, events, and announcements)
- Track and report service utilization to inform “community snapshot” updates
Program Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist the Assistant Director in convening and supporting initiative work groups
- Help define and align group goals and strategies with the initiative’s common agenda
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
- Foster collaboration among stakeholders and work group members
- Provide data, case studies, and research to support informed discussions
- Maintain consistent communication through email, calls, meetings, and online platforms
Administrative & Strategic Support
- Develop clear meeting materials, presentations, and documentation
- Assist in communicating Minus 9 to 5’s vision and strategies to partners and the public
- Stay current on early childhood trends and best practices relevant to the initiative
- Support the initiative’s infrastructure and other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills
- Experience engaging faith-based and/or community groups
- Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders and creating inclusive spaces
- Ability to manage and synthesize data for different audiences
- Familiarity with early care and education issues preferred
- Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Reliable, self-motivated, and collaborative
