2026 - 2027 Long Term Sub Music Teacher
The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eight Parish School in Alexandria Virginia, seeks a temporary Long Term Sub Music Teacher for grades 3 - 8 for the 2026-2027 school year. The Long Term Sub Music Teacher will offer excellent instruction in elementary music skills, developing their artistic gifts and guiding them to a fuller appreciation of beauty. The teacher will nurture the sanctity of our students, forming them intellectually, spiritually, and morally within the Catholic faith. The music teacher will work closely with grade-level teams. Qualified candidates will fully embrace the mission of our Catholic school, which recognizes the infinite value of each student, seeks to develop the gifts of all, and nurtures them to be saints, stewards, and scholars, always with an eye to their eternal destiny. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree and have strong elementary instructional experiences. The Basilica School is committed to providing our students and families with excellence in Catholic education. We are in beautiful Old Town Alexandria, VA, Diocese of Arlington. Salaries are highly competitive and commensurate with experience. The hourly range for this long term position is $25 - $27.
