We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support our outside sales team and work closely with our channel partners to generate new leads and sales opportunities. This role is critical to the success of our sales efforts, as you will assist in qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between sales reps, partners, and customers. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Qualification & Pipeline Development
- Qualify inbound leads through phone calls, emails, and discovery conversations.
- Conduct research on target accounts to identify key contacts, business needs, and buying timelines.
- Generate new opportunities through outbound outreach (cold calls, emails, sequences, and social engagement).
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date information in the CRM.
- Serve as a first point of contact for prospective clients, providing introductory information and answering initial questions.
- Schedule discovery calls and meetings for the outside sales team.
- Follow up with prospects in various pipeline stages to drive engagement and move opportunities forward.
- Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to build territory plans and outreach strategies.
- Assist with proposal preparation, quote generation, and documentation as needed.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and training sessions.
- Meet or exceed KPIs including call activity, email outreach, meeting scheduling, and opportunity creation.
- Prepare weekly reports on pipeline progress, lead quality, and outreach performance.
- 1–3 years of experience in Inside Sales, SDR/BDR, customer service, or a related role (tech experience preferred).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfort making outbound calls and engaging decision-makers.
- Experience using CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, etc.).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Coachable, motivated, and goal-oriented mindset.
- This role sits in our Herndon, VA office, must be within commutable distance to office
