Our Maintenance Team needs the right person to join them to provide maintenance at the airport Responsibilities to include assisting with all aspects of airfield and grounds maintenance, performing general building maintenance functions such as repairs to the facilities, painting, routine carpentry, minor plumbing and general cleaning. The maintenance team is required to be on-call for snow removal operations.
This position is a member of the Aircraft and Firefighting team. Fire and rescue training is provided by the airport. Upon successful completion of the fire training, you will receive an annual salary increase of $5,200.
Available shift: Wednesday - Saturday 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM. Applications accepted until filled.
Pay range: $16.88 - $22.27 per hour based on experience.
Benefits for full-time employees include health care coverage with 100% of employee's coverage currently paid by the Authority, retirement and life insurance coverage in the Virginia Retirement System, two weeks paid leave and thirteen paid holidays.
The applicant must successfully complete required fingerprint-based criminal history records check, employment background check, pass a pre-employment drug screening and possess a valid Virginia driver's license with driving record insurable by Authority's automobile liability carrier.
