Conferencing Manager

- Provide oversight to the conferencing team for planning, organizing and executing events such as conferences, training and meetings.
- Fully coordinate and collaborate on all tasks, activities, requirements and issues as they pertain to the support of the Customer's conferencing and training events.
- Develop conferencing event plans and schedules, and define and document the implementation of requirements
- Manage customer expectations with proactive, consistent and transparent communication.
- Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including catering, venue selection, logistics, AV requirements, and scheduling.
- Work closely with event point of contact, stakeholders, food service, logistics, security, and vendors to ensure the event objectives are met.
- Develop the event budget in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring all expenses are accounted for, and provide to appropriate government POCs for approval. Manage approved budget throughout the event.
- Conduct post event evaluations with POC, attendees and event support teams to assess the event's success and identify areas for improvement.
- Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph
- Must be a US Citizen
- Five (5) years of proven work experience as an Event Planner or Conference Manager.
- Knowledge of KPIs and conferencing software for event management.
- Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret, capture, and manage customer requirements and expectations
- Four (4) year degree in marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred.
