Your Daily Contributions

• Conducting thorough assessments, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and creating each patient's unique care strategy
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians (as dictated by credentialing)
• Delivering education to patients and their families on wellness, preventive care, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medication and therapy in alignment with the practice's legal scope

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Mandatory Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Virginia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
