Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong Banking / Financial Services domain experience to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and enterprise application development , along with experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Banking or Financial Services experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot .
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and Microservices .
• Participate in application design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Support application deployments and production releases.
• Contribute to application modernization and performance improvements.
• Ensure applications meet enterprise security and compliance standards.

Required Technical Skills

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+
• Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Microservices architecture
• RESTful APIs and web services
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
• Java design patterns
• Strong SQL experience
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases
• Experience with Git or other source-control systems
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Banking / Financial Services Experience Mandatory

Candidates must have professional experience working in the Banking or Financial Services industry .

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
