Spanish Foreign Language Teacher '26-27

The Charlottesville Waldorf School is seeking a full-time Spanish foreign language teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The Spanish teacher for Grades 1-8 is responsible for delivering a dynamic and engaging Spanish language program that adheres to Waldorf educational principles. The teacher will foster a love of the Spanish language and cultures among students, integrating language learning with artistic, musical, and cultural activities. This role requires creativity, flexibility, and a passion for teaching, ensuring that students develop linguistic skills and cultural awareness in a supportive and stimulating environment. Teachers experienced in Waldorf pedagogy or interested in learning about Waldorf pedagogy are encouraged to apply.

Located in the heart of Charlottesville, with the University of Virginia as a close neighbor, CWS draws in a vibrant community of people who care deeply about Waldorf education. The school celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2022. We are a faculty and staff of 35, including Early Childhood, Grades 1-8, Specialty teachers, and an administrative staff.
