What we do:

UMFS Treatment Foster Care offers individualized treatment for children and teens who are being placed out of home and have special emotional, behavioral, or medical needs. Our youth and families are supported by a collaborative team of specially trained clinical staff and foster parents, who provide daily behavioral health interventions that align with each child’s individualized treatment plan.

What we are looking for:

An Administrative Coordinator to oversee the daily administrative activities of the regional centers and provide operational support related to Agency or program needs by performing the following duties.

  • Streamline the required paperwork document process across all stages of the Resource Parent approval process.
  • Increase the system's efficiency by meeting all timelines for collecting the required documentation for the home approval process based on the best practices guidelines.
  • Oversee, collect, and manage all phases of paperwork for RP approval.
  • Review all documentation to ensure that all information is complete and meets all standards for approval.
  • Maintain, track, and enter all foster parent pre-approval documentation data and enter into evolv weekly.
  • Communicate directly with the prospective foster parent to collect all required information for approval, weekly.
  • Communicate with the prospective foster parent to ensure that all documentation corrections are completed within one week of the identified error.
  • Provide weekly updates to the FSC and PD on the status of prospective foster parent's documentation in the pipeline and compliance meeting.
  • Complete a file review for compliance before the Program Director signs the home study.

What you will need:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three years related experience or degree from college technical school with five years of related experience or a high school diploma and ten years related experience. Ability to understand and effectively use computers and other office equipment.
