Investment Analyst - Summer 2026 Start
Job Description
Job Description
Investment Analyst Program: Application Period: July 8, 2025 – October 10, 2025
Compensation: $70,000 Annual Base Salary + Bonus and Benefits Package
CornerStone’s Investment Analyst program offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the senior members of an investment organization while completing meaningful investment work. Our program welcomes all majors and is well suited for individuals who are:
- Interested in investing
- Interested in furthering their technical training
- Self-starters and team players
- Open-minded, teachable, and eager to learn
CornerStone’s Investment Analyst program is anchored in building strong technical skills and investment judgment. This is achieved through training and development programs (both internal and external) as well as through project-based staffing.
- Training and Development: Analysts build a strong foundation through training programs that cover Excel skills, multiple analytics platforms, and investment analysis. These technical skills are reinforced through ongoing reporting responsibilities and support of a variety of continuing education opportunities such as the CFA program.
- Project-based staffing: Projects are used to build and deepen technical skills and investment judgment. Projects allow analysts to work across asset classes and with all members of the investment team to build deep working relationships.
We measure the success of our Investment Analyst Program by our Analysts being enthusiastic and well-prepared for the next step in their career. Third-year analysts are eligible for promotion to Senior Investment Analyst based on their quality of work, teamwork, and positive impact on both the program and investment process. Following the completion of the program, successful Analysts are well-positioned to pursue a range of career paths. Prior analysts have continued their careers in investing or gone onto MBA programs, startups, and consumer marketing.
This position has flexibility regarding location with a requirement to spend time periodically in the office in Charlottesville. Analysts may have the opportunity to participate in work-related travel dependent on firm need and progression in the program.
