Due to continued growth in the Orange County market, we are expanding our service team and seeking polished, dependable event servers who take pride in guest service and teamwork.
Position Summary
The Event Server provides professional front-of-house service for a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate functions, private parties, galas, fundraisers, and special events. This is a flexible, on-call position ideal for hospitality professionals who enjoy variety, thrive in fast-paced event environments, and are committed to delivering excellent guest experiences.
Typical Shifts
Shifts vary based on event needs and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Both part-time and flexible schedules are available.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, professional guest service throughout events
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with event standards and service style
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, linens, and service areas
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable service stations
• Communicate clearly with captains, supervisors, and event staff
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
• Follow company policies, uniform standards, and safety procedures
Qualifications
• Previous experience as an event server, banquet server, or in a similar hospitality role preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Willingness and ability to travel to various event locations within Orange County
• Professional appearance and reliable work ethic
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in event environments
Work Environment
• Dynamic event and hospitality settings
• Fast-paced service periods with changing layouts and timelines
• Assignments issued through mobile scheduling; flexibility is essential
Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly pay rate: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Weekly pay via direct deposit
