LVC Training Administrative Specialist
- Provide on-site support at USFF Headquarters in Norfolk VA.
- Provide Navy administrative expertise within the USFF training department to support the daily operations of the USFF training directorate (N7)
- Coordinate and implement standard USFF N7 administrative procedures and provide oversight and guidance for effective office operations to include administration and management of the command tasker system. Utilize and maintain proficiency in the Microsoft family of products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, experience with SharePoint a plus)
- Exercise attention to detail, display organizational skills and interact with senior level personnel
- Produce high quality staff work common to a large Navy staff; prior military major staff experience preferred.
- Demonstrate and utilize speaking skills to interact with all levels of Naval personnel as the training directorate products are routinely delivered to the highest levels of government and military commands. The ability to speak politely and intelligently and provide administrative support to multiple audiences is pivotal.
- Quickly and accurately source reference documentation to demonstrate proper staffing of required documents and when necessary interact with both senior and junior staff personnel to ensure staff administrative products are error-free and delivered in accordance with staff procedures.
- Utilize established procedures to deliver and track staff products. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, 6 years related experience in leu of degree acceptable
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- 5+ years of experience in:
- Large Navy staff administrative procedures
- Working with all levels of staff personnel
- Working with Microsoft Office family of products.
