Plant Finance Manager

Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Plant Finance Manager. This position provides financial leadership to the Williamsburg, VA location, serving as a business partner and change agent to drive continuous improvement actions and achieve overall business targets. This role connects finance processes with operations, providing guidance, driving actions, and offering financial insights to ensure operational strategies and decisions lead to the expected results. \nThe ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, process improvement focused, can effectively manage multiple projects/priorities, and demonstrates the drive and people capability to deliver results within a global, growing, and profitable business. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Financial Analysis: Own the financial picture for operations, looking at sales, purchasing, COGS, and manufacturing results to spot trends, issues, and opportunities to improve performance.\n * Decision Support: Support day\u2011to\u2011day and strategic decisions by providing clear financial insights around investments, projects, and operational trade\u2011offs.\n * Keep costing accurate and useful, maintaining standard costs and analyzing variances so leaders understand what\u2019s driving margins and where action is needed.\n * Oversee cost accounting basics, making sure costs are applied consistently and make sense for how the business actually runs\n * Take ownership of ERP data quality, ensuring cost, inventory, and financial data is accurate, complete, and reliable for reporting and decision\u2011making.\n * Lead forecasting and planning for the site, including forecasts, annual plans, and updates as business conditions change.\n * Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets.\n * Manage COGS performance, helping operations understand results versus plan and where improvements can be made.\n * Drive productivity, CAPEX, and working capital efforts, partnering with operations to improve cash flow and overall efficiency.\n * Forecasting: Lead the main financial processes for the site, such as forecasts and profit plans.\n * Be responsible for inventory accuracy, including valuation, physical inventories, cycle counts, and ongoing improvement of inventory controls\n * Watch for financial risks and issues, putting practical controls and fixes in place before problems grow.\n * Work closely with operations leaders, translating numbers into clear actions and following through on improvement plans.\n * Partner with centralized finance teams, helping navigate finance transformation, process changes, MRP improvements, and system or role transitions.\n * Support MRP development for future improvements.\n * Support change management process for facility and product improvements.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or other related area from an accredited institution.\n * At least 3 years of varied accounting/finance with manufacturing experience.\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
