Our client, a leading organization in the maintenance and facilities management industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational efficiency and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Springfield, VA

Pay Range: $26.01/hr to $27/hr

Schedule: Must have open availability

• Perform painting and wall covering tasks on interior and exterior surfaces
• Install, repair, and finish drywall and plaster
• Remove and reinstall furniture, equipment, and fixtures in work areas
• Inspect and repair damaged surfaces for remodeling projects
• Estimate project requirements and order necessary materials

What's Needed?

• Experience in painting and wall covering on interior and exterior surfaces
• Skills in drywall installation, repair, and finishing
• Ability to remove and reinstall furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Capability to inspect and repair surfaces for remodeling projects
• Knowledge of estimating project needs and safe use of tools and equipment
