Summer 2026 Sales & Marketing Intern

As a Sales & Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in sales strategies, customer engagement, and market analysis within a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our sales team on various projects, assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and customer engagement. You will gain valuable experience working in a collaborative environment, understanding customer needs to develop sales strategies, and learning about digital marketing, content creation, and market research.

This internship is a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of technology, marketing, and sales, while understanding the inner workings of a growing tech company. We are looking for motivated individuals ready to learn, contribute, and make an impact during their summer with us.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales team in preparing sales pitches and presentations.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends.
• Support customer relationship management and help maintain customer outreach initiatives.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance your understanding of our solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and improve sales and marketing strategies.
• Help track sales and marketing metrics and prepare reports for analysis.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials, including presentations, white papers, and social media content.
• Help organize and participate in marketing events, webinars, and workshops.
• Collaborate with team members on innovative marketing campaigns to enhance our online presence.
• Interns will work in the Reston office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
• Must be based in the DMV area and be able to commute to our Reston office at least 3 times a week.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with sales and marketing principles.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts.
• Experience with graphic design tools (such as Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and technology.
