Security Team Manager, Forensics and Investigations
- Team Leadership & Task Management: Supervise a team of 10-15 Personnel and Physical Security Specialists.
- Manage schedules, workloads, performance reviews, and ensure all contract deliverables and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Client Advisement & Close Support: Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for government clients.
- Provide daily, on-site consultative support, briefing senior leadership on security posture, risk mitigation, and operational bottlenecks.
- Personnel Security (PERSEC) Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end clearance processing lifecycle.
- Resolve complex crossover issues, direct continuous vetting workflows, and ensure the team accurately utilizes Scattered Castles, DISS, and internal databases.
- Physical Security (PHYSEC) Oversight: Direct the processing and validation of Visitor Access Requests (VARs), badge issuance, and access control.
- Ensure all SCIF entry/exit protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are flawlessly executed.
- Process Improvement: Identify workflow inefficiencies across both PERSEC and PHYSEC domains.
- Design and implement new SOPs to accelerate clearance processing and streamline visitor control operations.

- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of experience in Personnel Security or Physical Security oversight.
- 3+ years of experience leading or supervising a team in a security management environment.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 5 days per week in Bethesda, MD and McLean, VA.
- Ability to travel 5-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Experience designing and implementing operating procedures in security clearance processing and visitor control operations
- Experience with security controls assessments, security governance, or security policies, procedures and standards
