CNC Capital Equipment Sales Engineer
Step into a day in the life
You start your morning reviewing a 30-60-90 pipeline you own, mapping out which projects need a push and which prospects are primed for a demo. A customer asks about cycle-time reductions—within minutes, you loop in our seasoned technical team to co-create a solution. By afternoon, you’re in a Virginia shop talking through value-added tooling strategies, and later you log your notes in SalesForce.com. You end the day confident: your decisions drive territory growth, and your results drive your compensation.

Territory & travel
Your territory will be shaped by your skills, experience, business needs, and your geographic preferences, with a focus on the Virginia markets. Travel to our Charlotte office will be infrequent and largely for customer demos and open houses.
What you’ll own
- Generating and advancing manufacturing projects
- Managing deal and territory profitability
- Growing new business while protecting and expanding existing customer revenue to meet stated sales goals
- Maintaining an electronic 30-60-90 day forecast
- Following Ellison Technologies’ sales training program
- Using SalesForce.com to keep client information current and accurate
What you bring
- A proven record in territorial B2B sales; experience with machine cutting tools is ideal
- We also welcome backgrounds in tooling, fixturing, and CNC programming—especially if you’re looking to move into outside sales
- Curiosity and a hunter mentality: you open doors, teach prospects about their operations, and deliver creative, value-added solutions
