Position Summary
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies. We are exploring the addition of an experienced SAFe Coach who can operate in a dual capacity, supporting large, complex federal healthcare programs (e.g., contracts over $100m) while also helping strengthen how SAFe is applied across our organization.

This role is suited for a hands-on, pragmatic SAFe leader who is comfortable working directly with clients while contributing to internal capability building. The individual should bring real-world SAFe implementation experience and the ability to adapt the framework to the realities of federal delivery environment.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Client Delivery - SAFe Program Support

• Provide hands-on coaching and delivery support for large federal healthcare programs (VA experience preferred)
• Support the stand-up, execution, and continuous improvement of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and PI Planning
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and delivery teams on effective SAFe and Agile practices
• Engage directly with client stakeholders and delivery teams in a practical, execution-focused manner
• Adapt SAFe practices to operate effectively within federal constraints, emphasizing outcomes over theory
• Identify and address delivery challenges to improve flow, predictability, and team effectiveness

Internal Enablement - SAFe Practice

• Act as an internal SAFe champion to mature how Agile is applied across consulting, technology, and data work at PFS.
• Support development of lightweight SAFe playbooks, standards, and guidance (practical, not overly heavy)
• Provide team coaching, mentoring, and targeted training to support consistent Agile adoption
• Contribute to proposal development and help shape how PFS positions SAFe for VA and adjacent federal markets
• Share best practices and lessons from delivery to strengthen internal capabilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Strong, hands-on experience implementing SAFe in complex environments
• SAFe Practice Consultant-T (SPCT) certification preferred
• Additional SAFe certifications are a plus
• Demonstrated experience coaching Agile teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners
• Comfortable operating in a client-facing, billable role while contributing to internal initiatives
• Experience supporting federal health programs; VA experience (e.g., VHA, OIT, EHRM) preferred
• Pragmatic, execution-oriented mindset with the ability to balance structure with real-world delivery
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust
