Responsibilities
- Manage the full testing lifecycle, from requirements gathering and test plan design to hazard analysis documentation for system deployment.
- Lead application testing efforts utilizing expertise in SDLC, SQL, and automated testing frameworks such as Selenium.
- Coordinate with Requirements Analysts/Business Analysts and developers to ensure proper implementation and testing of specifications.
- Develop and execute data-driven test plans, including creating detailed test cases and scenarios from requirements, use cases, or user stories.
- Ensure system integrity through rigorous quality control, application performance testing, and compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and browser compatibility.
- Produce hazard analysis documentation to assess deployability and system readiness.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to staff and contractors throughout testing phases.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on testing efforts and system concepts.
- Develop work plans, monitor adherence to schedules, and ensure testing standards are maintained.
- Minimum of six years of experience in application design, development, or testing, including creating test data, cases, and scenarios from requirements.
- At least six years of experience in developing and managing test plans and requirements documentation.
- Five or more years of experience with standards and quality control procedures for testing implementation.
- Proficiency with Use Cases or user stories to create test cases.
- At least five years of experience with the SDLC, DBMS concepts, and design techniques.
- Experience implementing automated testing techniques and continuous integration workflows.
- Strong SQL skills for retrieving and updating test data.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, and browser compatibility testing.
- Experience with application performance testing and accessibility (Section 508 compliance).
- Proven leadership experience, including managing contractor staff and guiding testing teams.
- Ability to develop technical specifications, work plans, and monitor multiple testing efforts simultaneously.
