Front Desk Receptionist for Christian Business Location Vinton, VA :

Christian business looking for receptionist. Looking for someone that is detail-oriented, dependable, and has good customer service skills. You will be the first point of contact for all clients; therefore, it is important for you to have a welcoming demeanor and pleasing personality. Additionally, you will be answering phone calls while answering questions, taking messages, and directing the phone calls to the appropriates lines. Also, a portion of your job will be to complete bookkeeping and payroll for business clients. While we prefer basic bookkeeping and payroll skills, training will be provided regardless.

Requirements

• Previous Experience as a Receptionist (at least 1 year)
• Must be able to type 50 WPM
• Must have Basic Computer Skills on Windows
• Must know how to use Adobe Reader or Acrobat
• Must be fluent in Microsoft Office
• Must be able to Multi-Task
• Must have High School Diploma
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must not have a bankruptcy history
• Must have proficient communication skills to deal with the public both in person, on the phone, and through written means
• Must have good stress management skills and able to work in fast pace environment
• Must be local to apply

Responsibilities

• Greeting Clients
• Checking clients in for appointments
• Giving and helping the client with any forms during check-in
• Taking in drop-off tax returns
• Answering Phones and Emails
• Bookkeeping and Payroll
• Checking clients out and receiving payment
• Supporting other staff as needed
• Scanning in documents
