Welder/Fitter Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $24.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Second Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 03:30pm to 02:00am )
- Fit and weld structural steel components using blueprints and weld symbols
- Perform MIG welding to meet quality and production standards
- Measure, cut, and grind materials for proper fit?up
- Inspect welds and finished parts for accuracy and strength
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Welder/Fitter Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass both a written weld test and a hands?on (manual) weld test
- Proven experience as a welder/fitter, preferably with structural steel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
- Basic math and measuring skills required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
