Tax Associate – RVA Area

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

In this role, you’ll work directly with a senior team to help clients navigate complex tax laws, maximize their financial situations, and make smart decisions. What You’ll Do

• Review and prepare S-Corp and Individual tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collect, organize, and analyze client financial documents to ensure accuracy.
• Provide expert advice on credits, deductions, tax planning, and compliance.
• Stay on top of new tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures.
• Assist with onboarding new clients—gathering documentation and setting them up for success.
• Review completed returns for errors or discrepancies before submission.
• Work directly with clients and team members to resolve tax-related issues or inquiries.
• Maintain organized, accurate records of tax communications and filings.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Solid understanding of tax laws, filing procedures, and regulations .
• 2+ years of experience in tax preparation (S-Corp and Individual returns preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail + accuracy.
• Excellent communication and client-service mindset.
