About the Role

We are seeking a customer‑service‑oriented Surgical Scheduler to support the clinical operations team at an Arlington area hospital. This individual will assist with both front office and back office functions while primarily focusing on surgical scheduling, authorizations, and preparing patients for upcoming procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office Support

• Register patients at the front desk
• Check insurance and assist patients with automated registration systems
• Schedule appointments
• Guide patients to exam rooms

Back Office Support

• Follow‑up calls and emails
• Schedule appointments
• Insurance authorizations
• Additional administrative support as needed

Primary Surgical Scheduling Responsibilities

• Schedule all surgery appointments
• Complete pre‑appointment authorizations
• Coordinate with patients to ensure readiness for surgery

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ year healthcare experience
• Surgical scheduling experience
• Customer service oriented
• Patient registration
• EMR experience ( EPIC )

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate: $20–$30/hr (W2)
