Entry Level Marketing and Communications

We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Assistant to support the communications initiatives of our rapidly growing event marketing company. In this role, you will help drive our marketing, advertising, and consulting efforts for large national companies and corporations, ensuring we maintain strong community engagement and a positive brand image.

As a key part of our team, you'll collaborate with internal departments, manage public relations strategies, and organize impactful community events. Your contributions will help shape the way our company connects with its target audience and strengthens its public presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with senior management to achieve organizational goals
• Organize and promote community events, serving as the company’s spokesperson to the public
• Build strong relationships with customers while communicating the value of our promotional services
• Develop community-based strategies and campaigns that align with company objectives
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with consumers, employees, community groups, and public interest organizations
• Coach client representatives in effective communication strategies with the public and employees
• Analyze organizational objectives and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, services, and ideas
• Maintain and protect the organization’s image and brand identity
• Collaborate with the Operations Director to identify trends and evaluate advertising efforts, ensuring alignment with public relations initiatives

Requirements:

• Previous experience in community relations, sales, or related fields is preferred
• Strong ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships within the community
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
• Positive, professional demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong desire for professional development and willingness to take on new challenges
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
