Job Description

As an Industrial Electrician, you will measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit and pull wiring through the conduit. You will also terminate wiring and panels, install transformers, automatic transfer switches, and switchgear, and use hand and power tools to assemble equipment according to product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and equipment in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Utilize fabrication drawings, blueprints, and wiring schematics.
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread electrical conduit.
• Assemble and install electrical conduit and pull wiring through the conduit.
• Terminate wiring and panels.
• Install transformers, automatic transfer switches, and switchgear.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of five (5) years of electrical experience.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical theory and methods, materials, tools, equipment, and systems used in the electrical trade.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Current and valid United States driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.

Work Environment

This role operates in a climate-controlled, well-lit, and clean environment. The work schedule typically runs from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm, with additional hours available due to current demand. Enjoy the benefits of no travel requirements in this position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
