Clamp Forklift Operator — Sit‑Down PIT
Location: Richmond, VA

Picture your day: you arrive, run a thorough equipment check on your sit‑down forklift with clamp attachment, and map out the first moves that keep materials flowing. You’ll load inbound trailers, stack product to optimize space, and shuttle inventory with calm control—keeping safety, accuracy, and teamwork at the center of every move.
Day in the life
- Operate a sit‑down clamp truck/forklift to move, stage, and store materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while protecting product and equipment
- Stack, cube, and organize inventory to maximize warehouse space and safety
- Complete daily equipment inspections before operating the forklift
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, traffic patterns, and guidelines
- Coordinate with teammates to keep production and shipping on schedule
- Record inventory movements accurately to maintain clear, up‑to‑date logs
- Assist with training new operators on safe, proper equipment operation when needed
